Active Seat Suspension for Ultra-compact Mobility with Small Motor

Since the vehicle body of ultra-compact mobility is lightweight, there concern about degradation ride comfort due to vibration from road surface. There have been reports on active seat suspension as a means controlling for occupant, however only in vertical direction. In addition vibration, rotational directions such roll, pitch, and yaw also deteriorate comfort. Furthermore, it has reported that human perception different direction with respect frequency direction, pitch which input during acceleration. Therefore, this paper proposes an system controls analytically clarifies characteristics model when optimal control applied. output voltage voice coil motor limited its small size. variation response within range was investigated.
